Born in 1976, Dr. Sever Muresanu escaped from communist Romania to Canada in 1988. His mother, herself a doctor, was quickly trained as a hair transplant technician and out of curiosity he witnessed the first HT surgery as a 15 year old young man. His mother regularly spoke about the hair transplant cases she would work on at a time when follicular unit transplantation was first evolving from the mini-micro graft and punch graft days. 

Dr. Muresanu returned to Europe and finished his studies in medical school in Cluj-Napoca Romania in 2001. Shortly after graduation, he and his medical school classmate Laura, married before again traveling back to Canada to start their new lives together. After returning to Canada, they both went to work as hair transplant technicians at a local clinic in order to learn the trade of surgical hair restoration from the ground up before pursuing their goal of opening their own clinic. 

Their hearts were set on returning to Europe,  however, and after a few years in Spain opened a small practice in Germany that quickly established itself as one of the market leaders in the german speaking world. They eventually specialized in very large FUT sessions and slowly began to successfully include FUE around 2010. 

In 2009 the clinic was moved to Schaffhausen, Switzerland where it has been ever since. The main focus is on providing realistic and informed long term hair restoration solutions for their patients. Being exposed to the development of hair transplants from a very young age and witnessing the dynamic nature of hair loss and improper hair restoration planning has left a lasting imprint and realization of  the importance for proper and realistic future oriented planning.
